Are you interested in becoming a firefighter? Firefighters are more than just riding on an engine and putting water on fires. Firefighters also respond to accidents, rescues, emergency medical calls, and other incidents where there are risks to life and property. Becoming a volunteer firefighter will not only give you an opportunity to train to become a firefighter within the department, but you can become certified in multiple areas including:

  • Structure Firefighter
  • Apparatus Operator
  • Driver
  • Technical Rescue
  • Vehicle Extrication
  • Wildland Firefighting 
  • And more!

Do you love helping people in medical emergencies- and not squeamish at the sight of blood? Being a part of the Emergency Medical Services can be incredibly fulfilling while also allowing you to help out our community in a very direct and real way.  The Emergency Medical Services include: 

  • Emergency Medical Responder (EMR)
  • Emergency Medical

Do you love helping people in medical emergencies- and not squeamish at the sight of blood? Being a part of the Emergency Medical Services can be incredibly fulfilling while also allowing you to help out our community in a very direct and real way.  The Emergency Medical Services include: 

  • Emergency Medical Responder (EMR)
  • Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)
  • Advanced Emergency Medical Technician (AEMT)
  • Emergency Medical Technician Intermediate (EMT-I)
  • Paramedic

Each role is unique and will allow you to have a direct impact into someone's life.

Support Roles

Not sure if you are able to complete the tasks of a Firefighter or Emergency Medical Service personnel, but still want to volunteer? Consider a support role in the department. This support role is designed for individuals who can assist in the department's efforts in Fire Prevention and Education, Chaplain Services, training, facility/vehicle maintenance, or even administration assistance.

Fill out an application and turn it in. Then come in to training on Tuesday nights at 6:30pm and meet everyone!
