Becoming a volunteer firefighter will not only give you an opportunity to train to become a firefighter within the department, but you can become certified in multiple areas including:
- Structure Firefighter
- Apparatus Operator
- Driver
- Technical Rescue
- Vehicle Extrication
- Wildland Firefighting

Not sure if you are able to complete the tasks of a Firefighter or Emergency Medical Service personnel, but still want to volunteer? Consider a support role in the department. This support role is designed for individuals who can assist in the department's efforts in Fire Prevention and Education, Chaplain Services, training, facility/vehicle maintenance, or even administration assistance.
