As insurance premiums rise, along with deductibles and co-payments, the value of a FireMed Membership increases. Many people cannot afford healthcare insurance, making FireMed Membership an even greater asset in their time of need.

The benefit of your membership:  You will not be billed for your insurance deductible or co-pay for the emergency transport services we provided and billed your insurance for. If you do not have insurance, you will not receive any bill for the emergency transport services we provided.

Is my home within the Chiloquin Fire and Rescue ambulance service area?

Our service area is assigned by Klamath County. It extends south to mile post 260 on Highway 97N where it meets the Klamath County Fire District #1 boundary and north to the Silver Highway junction where it meets the Chemult Rural Fire Protection District boundary. On Highway 62, we go up into Crater Lake National Park. We go west to the Westside Road where it meets the Rocky Point Fire and EMS boundary. The area extends east out Williamson River Road to the headwaters and southeast to the bridge at mile post 24 on Sprague River Road where it meets the Bonanza Ambulance and Bly Ambulance boundaries.

Traveling outside the greater Chiloquin Area?

Your FireMed membership is good in the yellow areas on the map below.
